- There are lizards running all over the place eating insects. One little one keeps looking at me and getting closer. Apparently the brightly colored ones are the males. One shows up on our back step and one female keeps trying to get his attention. I have called them George and Louise - for no particular reason.
- Across the airstip we can see three ladies carrying large bundles of wood on their heads.
- There is a young girl herding some cattle and goats.
- Another lady is collecting sticks and dried grass for a fire.
- In the distance there are donkey carts pulling loads and other herds of cattle and goats.
- There is all kinds of bird activity and bird song. I think they are singing an ode to Bernice.
- We notice at the top of a large tree there are actually red flowers blooming.
Before the social Grace was able to give the night guard, next to our place, a bowl of ice cream and a cookie. We had no common language with him but it is still a testimony in sharing.
Also today, we received delivery of the grass mats that are going on our tin roof. Hope it works out.
This evening we had a Seder/Passover service. Very nice and inspirational.
Blessings to all of our readers.
